S-92 Helo For Irish Coast Guard SAR Ops Complete

Aircraft To Fly Deep Atlantic Ocean Missions, Serve Ireland's West Coast

Production of an S-92 helicopter for operation by CHC Helicopter on behalf of the Irish Coast Guard has been completed by Sikorsky. Equipped for dedicated search and rescue (SAR) operations, the helicopter will provide coverage for deep Atlantic Ocean missions, service Ireland's offshore islands, and provide rescue cover from Cork to Galway on the country's west coast. Based at Shannon, the new aircraft will replace the current Coast Guard SAR helicopter, a Sikorsky S-61 helicopter, which has given 20 years of unbroken service.

In-flight Internet connectivity provider Gogo said Friday it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock.
