Libyan Red Crescent Purchases Five A119 Koalas

To Be Used For EMS Operations

Representatives with AgustaWestland told ANN Monday the Libyan Red Crescent has purchased five A119 Koalas helicopters, to be used for Emergency Medical Service (EMS) operations in the North African country.

AZ-Based Turbo Engines Bought Out By Bearing Manufacturer

Says Operations Will Continue Unaffected

Aero-News has learned Tucson, AZ-based engine repair and overhaul facility Turbo Engines, Inc. has been acquired by The Timkin Company, a steel bearings manufacturer. Timkin says the acquisition further bolsters the company's status in the aerospace aftermarket industry.
