The Bell/Agusta AB139 has been awarded FAA Certification. Ground
and flight testing was completed at the Agusta facility in Cacina
Costa, Italy and at the Honeywell facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
High altitude trials were conducted in Colorado, while hot weather
tests were conducted in Palm Springs, California and cold weather
tests in Corunna, Sweden.
NBAA has invited corporate flight departments to participate in
a Communication, Navigation and Surveillance/Air Traffic Management
(CNS/ATM) Joint Committee Survey, conducted by the International
Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and the General Aviation
Manufacturers Association (GAMA).
Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has announced that it has recently
received STC approval for the manufacture of King Air 300 and 350
Commuter Seats. AvFab already holds the Commuter Seat STC for the
King Air 90, 100 and 200 series aircraft.
