Field Aviation, of Toronto and Calgary, has named Christophe
Chollet to the position of director of sales, effective November
25. Chollet will be based in Toronto and will further Field
Aviation's position as a leader in aviation services to commercial,
military and government communities worldwide. He will report to
David Jensen, Field Aviation's vice-president, business
development.
Hospital Consolidation Means Even Greater Need For Safe
Helicopter Ops
Eurocopter has teamed up with the hospital in Dreux, the French
association of helicopter emergency medical services (AFHSH), and
the French civil aviation authority (DGAC) to conduct a series of
instrument flight tests that will, in the near future, allow
patients to be transported by helicopter from one hospital to
another even under poor weather conditions.
Dart Helicopter Services announced Thursday its affiliate DART
Aerospace Ltd. has received EASA approval of its Round-I-Beam
skidtube for Eurocopter BK117A1/A3/A4/B1/B2/C1 model aircraft. FAA
and Transport Canada approvals were previously received.
