Boeing Business Jets has just delivered its 100th "green" --
unfurnished -- airplane. Representatives of the government of India
accepted the milestone airplane at the Boeing Delivery Center in
Seattle.
Vanderbilt University is spearheading a study of rotorcraft
reliability. The five-year, $1.5-million project was commissioned
by the FAA, which says it's responding to the unusual increase
in the number of chopper accidents.
Phil Boyer, president of AOPA and the International Council
of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (IAOPA) recently sent
appeals to United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and
Brazil’s minister of justice, Márcio Thomaz Bastos,
asking for their assistance in securing the release of two U.S.
pilots who have been detained in Brazil for seven weeks.
