Eurocopter Chile Hands Over The Helo To Multi-Faceted

The Chilean subsidiary of Eurocopter has delivered an AS350 B3e
helicopter to Servicios Aereos Kipreos, making it the first
operator to receive this new version of the Ecureuil rotary-wing
aircraft in the Americas.
Tells NBAA New Proposal Will Be "Markedly Different" From
LASP
TSA officials have told NBAA that they hope to issue a new
proposed business aircraft security program by the end of this
year. The new proposal, which is expected to be markedly different
from the Large Aircraft Security Program (LASP) offered several
years ago, will need to be reviewed and approved by the Department
of Homeland Security and Office of Management and Budget
before being published for public comment.
Moves Sikorsky S-76D Helicopter Closer To Certification
Transport Canada recently certified the Pratt & Whitney
Canada PW210S engines that will be installed in Sikorsky’s
new S-76D helicopter, marking another milestone in the aircraft's
march toward certification. The engine certification signifies that
the PW210S engine has completed all required certification tests
and complies with all regulatory requirements.
