Southwest Airlines said Thursday that a tentative agreement has
been reached between the unions representing pilots of both
Southwest Airlines (SWAPA) and Air Tran (ALPA). This tentative
agreement would integrate the two groups' seniority lists.

aviation market for 2011-2030 at a news conference held Wednesday
in Beijing, China, on the opening day of the 14th Beijing Airshow,
September 21-24. The outlook indicates that world aviation showed
signs of recovery in 2010, after the economic crisis of 2008, with
China emerging as one of the fastest growing and most important air
