Flights Between The Two Countries Could Begin In A Few

TSA and the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) announced
the successful implementation of cooperative efforts to enhance
aviation security on Monday. Flights between the United States and
Liberia could begin as early as fall 2010.
NTSB Reported To Have Concerns Following American Airlines
Incident In Jamaica
An American Airlines jet which slid off a wet runway during
heavy rain in Kingston, Jamaica in December has the NTSB reviewing
wet braking standards for airliners, according to a
published report.
One Was Allegedly Carrying Mock Bombs In A Suitcase
Two men who flew aboard a United Airlines flight from Chicago to
Amsterdam were arrested when they arrived in the Netherlands and
charged with "Preparation of a Terrorist Attack." One of the two
was allegedly carrying what were described as "mock bombs" in his
luggage while in the U.S.
One New Runway Would Be Built, Two Extended, But Not Everyone
Is Happy With The Plan
The FAA has selected the plan it considers the best
choice for expansion at Philadelphia International Airport.
But a green light on the project can't be given until a final
environmental impact statement is completed, and a local government
is still hoping to slow or alter the project.
Some Other Passengers Also Decided To Change Planes
Things got a little hairy as passengers boarded United Airlines
Flight 727 at Dulles airport in the Washington, DC area going to
Tampa Sunday night. One of the passengers made a comment to a
flight crew member, which resulted in nine men being removed from
the plane.
