All Parts Must Be Replaced By December 24th, Aircraft Deemed
Safe To Fly
The FAA Tuesday approved a plan that would require Southwest
Airlines to replace unapproved parts installed on about 50 B737
airplanes and for these aircraft to undergo inspections until fixes
are made. The airline already has replaced parts on 30 other
planes.
BA Brings Scheduled Long-Haul Flights To City Center

Airbus has delivered the first of two A318 aircraft equipped
with 'steep approach' capability to British Airways. The A318 is
the largest commercial aircraft certified to land at steeper than
usual gradients and has the potential to transform long haul travel
between city centers, saving time and cost to the business
traveller.
