Requires Detailed Checks On Planes With Over 8,000 Cycles
Officials with Transport Canada have called for immediate visual
inspections of all Bombardier Q400 turboprop regional airliners,
following two landing gear failures worldwide over the course of
three days.
It's a big order for Nigeria's newest commercial airline. On
Thursday, Arik Air announced an order for 10 Boeing 737-800s, four
787-9s and one 777-300ER (Extended Range). The order is valued at
approximately $1.8 billion at list prices.

Representatives with Airbus tell ANN that Brazilian carrier TAM
Linhas Aereas has taken delivery of its first two A321s. TAM's new
A321s are powered by International Aero Engines V2500s and seat 220
passengers in a single-class layout.
