A Mandala Airlines 737 has gone down shortly after takeoff form
the city of Medan, in Indonesia, Monday. Currently reported as a
Boeing 737-200, the Mandala 737 was reported to be carrying five
crewperson, 109 adults and 3 infants.
Sees Increased 787 Output By 2009 Even As Lines Are Idle
Even with its airliner assembly lines currently idled by a
machinists strike, Boeing is looking towards the future -- with
plans already to increase production of an aircraft that hasn't
even been fully assembled yet.
