The Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations (CAPA) which
represents over 28,000 professional airline pilots, issued a
statement praising the US House and Senate passage of the pilot
safety bill which will greatly increase part 121 airline pilot
qualifications.

Aviation analyst OAG reports in the August 2010 edition of OAG
FACTS that scheduled airline seat capacity grew within North
America for the first time since 2007. Seat capacity for the month
increased 1% over August 2009, to a total of 79.9 million seats
available within North America.
