during a landing attempt after overshooting the runway at Yichun
city. 48 people have reportedly been rescued, with 20 of those

The FAA announced Monday that Nigeria has achieved a Category 1
rating under the FAA’s International Aviation Safety
Assessment (IASA) program, which means that Nigeria complies with
international safety standards set by the International Civil
Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The British Airline Pilots' Association (BALPA) confirmed Monday
that it has asked to meet the management of Virgin Atlantic on
Tuesday for 'last ditch' talks to avoid confrontation between the
airline and its pilots.
