FAA Conference Features 'Competition for the Sky 2008'

Aim: 'Managing the Competing Demands within the National Airspace System'

The FAA has announced an event focused on providers, suppliers, regulators and users of the NAS. Scheduled for September 29 – October 2, 2008, at the Mirage (3400 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109), the FAA states that the "2008 Competition for the Sky Conference, 'Managing the Competing Demands within the National Airspace System (NAS)' is an integrated educational, networking and social event focusing on competing operational demands in the NAS.

Airbus Pays Tribute To 100th Anniversary Of First Wright Flights In Europe

A380 Low Pass Fly-By Over Hunaudieres Horse-Racing Track, Le Mans

 On 8th August at around 17:00 an Airbus A380 performed a low pass fly-by over Hunaudières horse-racing track at Le Mans. This was to pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of the first European flights by Wilbur Wright on 8th August 1908 at Le Mans.
