Considered by some to be one of aviation's most colorful pilots,
Captain Clyde "Frank" Lang, passed away July 10 in Houston, Texas,
after a brief illness. Lang, who grew up in west central Illinois
and had a home in Tucson, Arizona, was 87.
Emirates Airlines Places The Order Valued At $9.1 Billion
Dubai-based Emirates airline placed an order with Boeing Monday
for an additional 30 777-300ER aircraft, worth approximately $9.1
billion at list prices. The new order adds to the fleet of 71
777-300ERs previously ordered, of which 53 aircraft are currently
in service.

Flight
A man from Florida who claimed to have dynamite aboard a
trans-Atlantic flight on April 27th has been indicted on charges of
interfering with flight crew members and making threats. He is to
be arraigned July 28th.
