The city of Grapevine, TX remembered the 33 flight crew members
lost on September 11, 2001 in a moving dedication ceremony Friday
morning. The first significant national 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial
was dedicated at 1000 Texan Trail by Mayor William D. Tate; Valerie
Thompson, an American Airlines Flight Attendant; members of the
aviation community and friends and families of those lost on
9/11.
Boeing Australia Limited has become The Boeing Company's first
certified US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) repair station
outside the United States.
This week, Boeing delivered a 737-800 to Toronto-based Sunwing
Airlines, the third new Next-Generation 737 to be delivered to
Sunwing and the first to be operated on lease from lessor Aviation
Capital Group (ACG).

aviation authorities from throughout the Asia-Pacific region
gathered recently to review Pratt & Whitney's Geared Turbofan
engine development at the company's first Asia-Pacific Next
Generation Technology Symposiums in Singapore and Beijing, China.
During the summits in each city, Pratt & Whitney engineers
provided comprehensive technical briefings on the Geared Turbofan
engine's design, performance and development progress.
