It took a couple of days, but it seems at least some airlines
are coming around to Airbus's way of thinking about the new and
improved A350. Asian giant Singapore Airlines says it's placed an
order for 20 A350 XWB aircraft, and added to its initial order
for the super-jumbo A380 by ordering nine more of them.
Part of McCarren International Airport in Las Vegas was shut
down for several hours on Saturday night after the arrival of
United Airlines Flight 1491 from Denver with 11 sick people aboard,
including four flight attendants.
