Boeing Delivers Thomson Airways' First 787 Dreamliner

First UK Airline To Operate The 787

The first Dreamliner to be operated by a U.K. airline was delivered Thursday to Thomson Airways by Boeing. The airplane is the first of eight 787s Thomson Airways has on order. Thousands gathered to watch Thomson's 787 Dreamliner arrive at Manchester Airport, completing its delivery flight from Paine Field in Everett, WA.

Singapore Airlines To Order Up To 50 More A350 XWBs

Third Order From The Carrier For Airbus Mid-Size Widebody

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced that it will purchase up to 50 more A350 XWB aircraft. The agreement covers a firm order for 30 more A350-900s plus options for a further 20 aircraft. The deal allows for the airline to select either the baseline A350-900 or the larger A350-1000 when exercising the options.

South Jersey Transportation Authority To Pay $500,000 Per Year

The South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) voted unanimously Wednesday afternoon to transfer operations, marketing, and services development at Atlantic City Airport (KACY) to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), and pay $500,000 per year for PANYNJ to take over those functions.
