The developer of an inflight messaging service says it plans to
deploy a new Emergency-911 Service that will help airline pilots
and staff to alert up to 100 government personnel simultaneously in
the event of an inflight crisis.
Skymark Airlines is the most recent addition to Boeing's 737
Component Services Program (CSP), a move that Boeing says will help
the airline reduce its spare parts costs, an important advantage in
the low-cost carrier marketplace.
