Celebrity Pitchman Billy Mays complained about not feeling well
before going to bed Saturday night, and Sunday his wife found him
unresponsive. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a Tampa
hospital. Mays was on a USAirways flight Saturday that landed
hard in Tampa, reportedly causing minor injuries to several of the
passengers.
The Obama administration is filling in the
vacancies over at the NTSB... most recently with the nomination of
Christopher hart to rejoin the board, having previously served over
15 years ago.
ALPA has called on Congress to pass legislation that would help
control excessive speculation in the commodity futures marketplace
by enhancing oversight, transparency, and reporting requirements,
as well as imposing limits on cumulative speculative positions
across all markets.
