In yet another attempt to take over Midwest Air Group, AirTran
Airways said Monday it had extended the deadline for Midwest
shareholders to accept its $15-per-share offer from June 8 to
August 10.
Administrator Blakey Calls Grant "Money Well Spent"
Hoping to improve safety and efficiency as well as expand
capacity, the Federal Aviation Administration announced it will be
issuing more than $40 million in grant money to Atlanta's
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
