The Air Transport Association of America (ATA) reported late
last week that passenger revenue rose 12 percent in April 2011
compared to the same month in 2010, marking the 16th consecutive
month of revenue growth. The revenue data is based on a sample
group of U.S. carriers.
Association Believes It Would Have Slowed Passage Of FAA
Reauthorization
The Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations (CAPA) which
represents over 28,000 commercial passenger and all-cargo cargo
pilots, said Monday it is pleased that Congressman Bill Shuster
(R-PA) has withdrawn his Amendment on Pilot Fatigue to the FAA
Reauthorization Bill (HR 658).
