BAE systems is giving the European Aeronautic Defense and Space
Company (EADS) an ultimatum over the company's intent to sell its
20 percent stake in aircraft manufacturer Airbus: "put" up, or shut
up.
The following statement was released by the Air Line Pilots
Association last week, in opposition to efforts by the Pension
Benefit Guaranty Corporation to have the US Bankruptcy Court toss
out the tentative agreement Delta reached with the pilots union in
April, over concerns about pension funding.
And you thought competition between US airlines was ugly... on
Monday, Canada's WestJet Airlines admitted it illegally obtained
proprietary information from competitor Air Canada between
2003-2004.
