In recent weeks, according to the NBAA,
lawmakers in and outside Washington have continued to voice
concerns with federal security officials about the TSA's
proposed Large Aircraft Security Program (LASP).
Boeing is recognizing the passing of a major milestone with the
design program of the 747-8 Intercontinental -- the completion of
25 percent of the design releases for the new passenger
airplane.
The FAA has signed a Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement (BASA)
between the United States and Japan that allows for the reciprocal
certification of aircraft and aviation products.
