Comes After Filing Of Complaint With Bankruptcy Court
Pilots at Aloha Airlines voted on Wednesday night to give its
local leadership, the Aloha Airlines Master Executive Council (MEC)
of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int'l (ALPA), the right to call
a strike, if it becomes absolutely necessary.

Components
The FAA has seen what critics term a 'philosophical' shift in
its maintenance of the nation's air trafrfic control
infrastructure. Instead of focusing attention on 45,000 individual
pieces of air traffic control equipment, the new trend is to
evaluate overall system performance.
Bombardier Aerospace announced Thursday the CRJ Series program
has exceeded 1,500 deliveries. The 1,500th aircraft, a CRJ900
NextGen model, was handed over to Northwest Airlines in March 2008,
and will be operated by Mesaba Airlines, a Northwest Airlink
carrier.
