Last Friday was a busy day for Boeing, as the aerospace
manufacturer delivered three new Next-Generation 737-800s to
European carrier Hapagfly in one day.
Aftermarket modification company Aviation Fleet Solutions tells
Aero-News the company has teamed with Pratt & Whitney to
develop and certify a new noise-reduction system, that reduces
cumulative noise from the JT8D-200-powered MD-80 aircraft by as
much as six decibels.
