Aviation Experts to Meet in Frankfurt for Airbus A380
Superjumbo Conference
Managers from major European airports, airlines, equipment
manufacturers and other aviation experts will be gathering in
Frankfurt on April 28 to 29 to discuss the impact of the new Airbus
A380 superjumbo on the global air transportation industry. Hosted
by Fraport AG (FRA), the two-day "Welcoming the A380" conference
will be held at the Arabella Sheraton Hotel in Frankfurt-Niederrad.
This is the first industry conference and exhibition dedicated
solely to the Airbus A380.

SUMMARY: The FAA is superseding an existing
airworthiness directive (AD), which applies to certain British
Aerospace Model BAe 146 and Model Avro 146-RJ series airplanes.
That AD currently requires a one-time measurement of the thickness
of the outer links on the side stays of the main landing gear
(MLG), and related investigative and corrective actions as
necessary; and provides for replacement of a thin outer link with a
new or serviceable part in lieu of certain related investigative
inspections.
