The first lawsuit may soon be filed related to the
January 15 ditching of US Airways Flight 1549
in New York's Hudson River... and it might not come from an
'emotionally distressed' passenger.
It's a questionable premise, at best... but that hasn't stopped
one Georgia lawmaker from proposing the state take over Atlanta's
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), ostensibly to
combat long lines and delays at the nation's busiest commercial
airfield.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters asked the National
Mediation Board (NMB) Tuesday to release it from mediation with
Amerijet International, Inc., and to push for binding arbitration
in an effort to reach a collective bargaining agreement.
