SUMMARY: This amendment adopts a new airworthiness
directive (AD), applicable to all Boeing Model 747SP, 747SR,
747-100, -100B, -100B SUD, -200B, -200C, -200F, and -300 series
airplanes, that requires modification of the escape slide/raft pack
assembly and cable release sliders, as applicable.

SUBJECT: Airworthiness Directive 2006-05-03
SUMMARY: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive
(AD) for Rolls-Royce plc (RR) models RB211Trent 768-60, Trent
772-60, and Trent 772B-60 turbofan engines.
No one is exactly sure WHAT happened overnight Saturday at
Cleveland International Airport... but when ground crews reported
for work Sunday morning, they found that the nosewheel of a
Northwest Airlines BAE/Avro 146 regional jet had collapsed at the
gate.
North American Airlines, Inc. has announced that Alameda County
(California) Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman issued an order
on March 1, 2006 partially in favor of North American on its
post-trial motions in an employment case brought by a former pilot,
Randall Otto, against North American.
