FAA Will Likely Keep O'Hare Flight Cap

May Be Extended To 2008

Citing increased delays if such a restriction wasn't in place, the FAA announced Thursday the agency will likely extend a cap on the number of flights into Chicago's O'Hare airport until October 28 -- and maybe longer.

JetBlue Selects Hamilton Sundstrand for 10-Year Maintenance Contract

Hamilton Sundstrand has entered into a 10-year exclusive agreement with JetBlue Airways for repair services in support of JetBlue's fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. JetBlue has firm orders with Airbus for 96 A320 aircraft through 2016 with options for 50 more between 2008 and 2013.

Still Big Bucks: $12.6 Million Verdict Bargained Down to $3.1M

North American Airlines tells ANN that a post-trial ruling to reduce compensatory and punitive damages to $3.1 million from an original verdict of $12.6 million was accepted on March 14, 2006 by the plaintiff, former North American pilot Randall Otto.
