The NBAA is praising two notable accomplishments by a global body tasked with creating standards, which will begin to limit aircraft-carbon emissions and continue to reduce noise levels in the near term. The Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) wrapped up its current three-year assignment from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on February 14.

AA Mechanics Reach Majority Support For Teamsters At Key Stations

Have Been Gathering Cards Since September 2012

The Teamsters Airline Division and the Teamsters Aviation Mechanics Coalition (TAMC) announced late last week that at many maintenance stations across the country, American Airlines mechanics and related workers have reached a majority of cards signed for Teamster representation. With a majority of cards at the major hubs in hand, the Teamsters Union is nearing majority support throughout the system and is one step closer to filing for an election with the National Mediation Board.
