The V2500 engine developed by International Aero Engines (IAE),
a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders comprise
of Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, the Japanese Aero Engines
Corporation and MTU Aero Engines, has been selected by Sichuan
Airlines and leasing company ICBC to power their new A320 family
aircraft.
The captain of a Czech Airlines flight from Warsaw to Prague is
reported to have collapsed and died in mid-flight on Wednesday.
Reuters reports the co-pilot landed the aircraft in Prague.
Accuse Agency Of Enabling Voyeurism At Checkpoints

United Airlines has recently announced changes to its pet
transport policy that will increase the cost for military service
members transporting their pets up to 1,300 percent! According to
an article published in Stars & Stripes, military personnel
transferring from the Asian Pacific region back to the United
States currently pay an average of $283 to fly their pet home.
Under the new policy due to go into effect on March 3, 2012, that
cost will skyrocket to between $1,440 - $3,869.
