Boeing and Icelandair have announced a firm order for two
all-new 787 Dreamliner airplanes with which the carrier will expand
its operations on long-range routes from Iceland, and develop its
fleet.
Nothing in the bag was illegal to be checked in luggage. But the
unusual material, and the fact that Matt Mihsen was traveling
overseas, caused security screeners at Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport to be curious.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has successfully placed
four graduates of its Commercial Airline Pilot Training (CAPT)
program as flight officers at Focus Air, a worldwide cargo carrier.
The graduates will begin March 1 with Focus Air.
International is First in Nation to Test Multiple Portals
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Thursday
announced the installation of two explosives detection trace
portals at checkpoints C and D in McCarran International Airport's
Terminal 1.
Package Includes Radar, Satcom, And More To Follow
Air China Cargo has selected Rockwell Collins sensors, radar and
satellite communications for two Boeing 747-400F aircraft. The
agreement also calls for an option on three additional aircraft.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in November.
