GE Aviation said Monday that it has acquired Naverus, a
privately owned, Washington-based supplier of advanced
Performance-based Navigation (PBN) services, including Required
Navigation Performance (RNP) procedure development, PBN procedure
maintenance, air navigation service providers and airports.
Issue Will Be Revisited, But For Now, Proposed Rule Is "Out Of
Date"
The FAA announced Tuesday it is withdrawing a previously
published NPRM that proposed to establish one set of duty period
limitations, flight time limitations, and rest requirements for
flight crewmembers engaged in air transportation.
78 Workers Will Be Let Go At Airplane Maintenance Center
78 employees at the Goodrich Airplane Maintenance Center in
Foley, Alabama will be let go in January, company officials said
Monday. The reason given was a "slowdown" in aircraft
maintenance.
