US Airways is getting by with a little help from its friends.
Air Wisconsin Airlines revealed Thursday it plans to provide the
carrier with a $35 million loan, as part of a larger $950 million
financing plan US Airways announced in October.

Flights operated by the nation's largest airlines arrived on
time at a higher rate this past September than in either September
of last year or in August 2008, according to the Air Travel
Consumer Report released Friday by the US Department of
Transportation.
