Plans Proceeding To Move Main Runway In Evansville

A Highway And Railroad Track Will Have To Be Rerouted

The Evansville, Indiana airport board approved a proposal Monday that would allow the city to move Evansville Regional Airport's main runway nearly a half mile to the northeast. A nearby highway and rail railroad track would have to be relocated to accommodate the new runway.
