Horizon Air Mulls Starting Flights From Paine Field

Announces Intent To Begin Service By Summer 2009

Scheduled airline service may soon return to a Seattle, WA suburb. Horizon Air, regional subsidiary of Alaska Airlines, announced it week it will pursue plans to introduce daily air service from Paine Field (PAE) near Everett, WA before next summer.

Embraer Delivers First E-170 To Japan Airlines

Will Be Operated By Regional Subsidiary J-AIR

Embraer delivered the first Embraer 170 jet to Japan Airlines (JAL) Friday. According to the contract signed by the two companies in June of last year, JAL has a total of 10 firm orders for the Embraer 170, with options to purchase another five airplanes of the same model.
