Frontier Pilots Ratify Long-Term Agreement

Pilots overwhelmingly approve wage, benefit concessions

Members of the Frontier Airline Pilots Association (FAPA) have ratified a long-term labor agreement with the airline. The agreement will extend certain wage and benefit concessions through December 2011. Nearly 85 percent of votes cast were in favor of ratification. Of the 454 votes cast, 384 voted yes, only 70 voted no.

CAIR Files DOT Complaint After Muslims Kicked Off AirTran Flight

An Islamic civil rights and advocacy group has filed a complaint with the DOT following an incident Thursday in which nine Muslim passengers were removed from an AirTran Airways flight at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
