NASA tells ANN the rollout of Space Shuttle Endeavour to Launch
Pad 39A is expected to begin Tuesday night. Originally planned for
Tuesday morning, the move was canceled by NASA managers because
unfavorable weather was predicted to arrive in the launch area
before the vehicle would be secured at the pad.
In the first maneuver of its kind, the National Aeronautics and
Space Administration had to move one of its spacecraft recently to
protect it from man-made orbital debris.
Operations Scaled Back In Effort To Conserve Power
A giant dust storm that has been brewing for more than a week on
Mars is worsening and is affecting surface operations of the Mars
Exploration Rovers, Spirit and Opportunity.
