NASA has narrowed the target for its most advanced Mars rover, Curiosity, which will land on the Red Planet in August. The car-sized rover will arrive closer to its ultimate destination for science operations, but also closer to the foot of a mountain slope that poses a landing hazard.

Two Female Fighter Pilots Are Under Consideration For The Mission
The first Chinese woman in space will be one of two fighter pilots on a short list for selection for a mission to the Tiangong-1 space lab. Which ever of the women is selected, she will launch aboard a Shenzhou-9 spacecraft as part of a three-person team.
