19 Colleges And Universities Win Grants Totalling $16.8
Million
NASA has awarded $16.8 million to colleges and universities
nationwide to conduct research and technology development in areas
of importance to the agency's mission. In addition to the research
and technology development, the awards enable faculty development
and higher education student support.

The Commercial Spaceflight Federation said Wednesday that
Bigelow Aerospace (BA) has joined the Federation as an Executive
Member, having received unanimous approval by the Commercial
Spaceflight Federation's Board of Directors.
New Space Station Crew Members Launch From Kazakhstan
NASA astronauts Doug Wheelock and Shannon Walker and Russian
cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin launched to the International Space
Station aboard their Soyuz TMA-19 spacecraft at 1635 CDT Tuesday
(0335 Wednesday local time) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in
Kazakhstan.
