NASA Says May 10 Is Earliest Date, No Official Word From SpaceX

The software glitch which cropped up during the test firing of a Falcon 9 rocket Monday means another delay for the launch of SpaceX's COTS 2 and 3 combined flight. SpaceX had hoped to send a Dragon spacecraft to the ISS atop the Falcon 9 booster on Monday, May 7th, but the test fire did not go as smoothly as planned.

Findings from NASA's Dawn spacecraft reveal new details about the giant asteroid Vesta, including its varied surface composition, sharp temperature changes and clues to its internal structure. Static Fire Test Conducted At Cape Canaveral Air Force Station

SpaceX conducted a successful static test fire of the Falcon 9 rocket it hopes will launch a Dragon capsule to the International Space Station May 7th. The rocket rumbled to life on the second try about about 1615 EDT after being delayed by a computer glitch.

Visitors Will Get A Glimpse Of NASA's Vision Of America's Future In Space

In addition to giving visitors a glimpse into NASA's past, a new summer exhibit at the Virginia Air & Space Center (VASC) will focus on the future, as a full-scale test version of NASA's Orion spacecraft arrived at the museum Tuesday morning.
