Underwater Experiments Simulate Trip To An Asteroid
To determine how best to explore asteroids in the future, NASA
scientists and engineers are taking their experiments underwater in
the 15th expedition of NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations,
or NEEMO.
NASA managers have set the liftoff of space shuttle Endeavour
for 0856 EDT on Monday, May 16. Launch attempts are available
through May 26, except for May 21.
Airanespace Now Controls The Soyuz Facility In French
Guiana
The official ceremony marking ESA's handover of the Soyuz launch
site to Arianespace took place Saturday at Europe's Spaceport in
French Guiana, after the site was declared ready for the first
flight and the completion of a simulated launch campaign.
