Personal items which belonged to several astronauts will be sold
in a "Space History Sale" taking place at Bonhams, New York on May
5th. The sale will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Alan
Shepard's historic mission on Freedom 7 as the first American in
Space.
Award Named For First Person To Fly Faster Than Mach 2
The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) is seeking entries for
the 25th annual A. Scott Crossfield Aerospace Education Teacher of
the Year Award which includes a $1,500 cast stipend.

At the US Sport Aviation Expo 2011 ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell spoke with Randy Schlitter, the owner and founder of RANS Aircraft. When Campbell asked Schlitter about how RANS Aircraft is doing in the downturn of the kit plane market, Schlitter replied that they have continued to provide quality kit and factory built aircraft to their customers and as he put it, “They are pulling our wagon now.”
