NASA Challenges Students To 'Train Like An Astronaut'

Urges Kids To Be More Active, Eat Well, Study Hard

NASA and 14 international space agencies are challenging students to complete a nutrition and fitness program known as "Mission X: Train Like an Astronaut." Approximately 3,700 students from more than 25 different cities worldwide are participating in this six-week pilot project.

Will Replace Tim Kopra, Who Was Injured Over The Weekend

NASA selected astronaut Steve Bowen as a mission specialist on STS-133, the next space shuttle mission planned for launch on Feb. 24. Bowen replaces astronaut Tim Kopra, who was injured in a bicycle accident over the weekend.
