Milestone License Issued Almost 70 Years After First Issuance
The parachuting community, under the guidance of the US Parachute Association, has guided skydivers along a skill path using a series of licenses that start with 'A' and then go on to 'B' and so forth. An 'A' license is a stepping stone to be able to jump pretty much unsupervised at most dropzones throughout the country and elsewhere, and is a pretty solid indicator of achievement for a new parachutist.
