Decision Comes After Defense Minister Views Documentary

One day after a private showing of the documentary film "Fuerza
Aerea S.A." ("Air Force Inc."), the Argentine government has
announced it will demilitarize control of general aviation
regulation and oversight activities. The film contains scenes which
depict serious flaws in aviation security.
Retired USAF Lt. Gen. Harry Goodall died when the small aircraft
he was piloting crashed shortly after takeoff from McGregor
Municipal Airport around 8:00am September 2, 2006. He was the sole
occupant.
In a depressingly familiar story, another Mitsubishi MU-2 twin-
turboprop has gone down in Florida, killing its pilot.
Friday's crash follows the loss of the same type
aircraft less than a week earlier in the state, where a Michigan
couple died.
