Plug And Play Panel-Mounted Avionics Coming Soon From Avidyne

Touch-Screen Navigation, Com Panel, ADS-B Compliant Transponder In The Package

Avidyne Corporation introduced a full line of panel-mounted, plug-and-play avionics for general aviation aircraft at EAA AirVenture on Monday. Avidyne’s new avionics stack includes the IFD540 FMS/GPS/ Navigation/ Communication system with touch screen user interface, the AMX240 stereo Audio Panel with Marker Beacon, the AXP340 Mode S Extended Squitter (ES) Transponder, and the attitude-based DFC90 Digital Autopilot.

DFC90 Now Available For Cessna 182, As Well As Beach Bonanza And Baron

The potential install base for Avidyne's DFC100 Digital Flight Control System has been expanded to the Piper PA-32 aircraft, and deposits are now being accepted from owners of Entegra-equipped aircraft who want to upgrade to Entegra Release 9 and DFC100. Certification of Entegra Release 9 upgrade for PA-32s and certification of the DFC100 for PA-32s are expected later this year.
