Tenth Annual Living Legends Of Aviation Awards Set

January 18th Ceremony Once Again Hosted By John Travolta

The 10th Annual "Living Legends of Aviation" Awards, presented by Bell Helicopter and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, announce some of this year's honorees. The awards will be held January 18, 2013, at the Beverly Hilton. The 10th annual awards will be hosted by "The Official Ambassador of Aviation" John Travolta, and will celebrate a decade of recognition during aviation's second hundred years.

New Orleans' Lakefront Airport Announces Super Bowl Plans

Aircraft Reservations Required February 1-4

New Orleans Lakefront Airport (KNEW) is requiring reservations from aircraft operators for airport use February 1- 4, 2013 for the Super Bowl XLVII event on Feb. 3, according to a release from the FAA Safety Team. A heavy volume of air traffic is expected during this time so a parking reservation system has been established to insure that ramp space will be available for arriving aircraft.
