NTSB Releases Preliminary Report In CA Helo Accident

Aircraft Went Down During Filming Of TV Reality Series

The NTSB has released its preliminary report from a helicopter accident which occurred February 10 in Acton, CA, resulting in the fatal injury of all three people on board the aircraft. The report indicates that the weather was "Night VFR" when the Bell 206B JetRanger went down about a minute after takeoff. The pilot reportedly had to remove frost from the aircraft's main rotor blades just before the accident flight.
